Three steps from “no idea” to dinner.
No meal plan to fill in and no feed to scroll. Say what you have, say what you don't eat, and let the dice decide.
-
Fill your pantry
Pick what you have from hundreds of ingredients. Staples like salt and oil are assumed. And “onion” covers red, yellow and white onions, unless a recipe really needs one exact kind.
-
Say what to skip
Mark ingredients — or whole groups like peanuts, dairy or gluten — as dislikes or allergies. Allergies always apply. Dislikes can be let back in for a roll when you're feeling brave.
-
Roll
Choose how strictly to match your pantry:
- Strict — only what you can make right now
- Flexible — a few missing, listed for you
- Off — anything goes
Everything you need between the roll and the plate.
Once a recipe lands, the app stays out of your way while you cook.
Cook mode
One page, every step, your place kept.
Ingredients on top, every step below with a checkbox, and the next one highlighted. No swiping between cards with flour on your hands — just scroll.
Tap a timer inside any step to start it, and run several at once. They keep counting in the background and can notify you when they're done. The screen stays awake, and if you leave the app you come back to the same step.
Allergens
Badged on every recipe.
- Peanut
- Tree nut
- Dairy
- Egg
- Gluten
- Soy
- Fish
- Shellfish
- Sesame
Badges are worked out from each recipe's ingredient list, not typed in by hand, so they can't drift out of date.
Scale and convert
Cooking for two? Or ten?
Change the servings and every quantity follows, in fractions you can actually measure. Switch any recipe between metric and imperial.
Community
Share the dish only you make.
Post your own recipes with photos, and add your take on someone else's dish as a variation. Every recipe is built from the same ingredient list, so yours match pantries and allergy settings just like the rest.
Can't find an ingredient? Request it, and a person reviews it before it's added.
Browse and search
Or find something specific.
Search by dish or by ingredient, filter by cuisine, meal or diet, and sort by newest or top rated. Ratings use a weighted score, so a single five-star vote can't top the chart.
Offline
Works where the Wi-Fi doesn't.
Recipes you've opened recently, and saved recipes you've opened, are kept on your phone, so cook mode keeps going when the signal doesn't reach the stove.
Favorites
Keep the keepers.
Save a recipe with one tap and rate what you cook from one to five stars. Your saved list is private, and waits in the Saved tab.
A filter, not a guarantee.
Allergy filtering is a convenience. Allergen information comes from the ingredient lists recipes are built from, and many of those are written by the community — recipes can be mislabeled or incomplete, and packaged ingredients vary by brand and region.
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, always read the actual ingredient list of everything you cook with. Don't rely on the app's filtering or badges as a guarantee that a dish is safe. Recipes hidden by your allergy settings are counted, never silently lost, and a “show flagged” switch lets you see them.
A friendly kitchen.
Report any recipe, photo or profile, and block anyone: their recipes disappear from your rolls, searches and saved list.
Recipe and profile text is checked for spam and abuse, and anything flagged goes to a person to decide — nothing is removed by an algorithm alone. Photos are reviewed before they appear, and location data is stripped from every one.
Your kitchen stays yours.
- No account needed to browse, search, roll and cook
- Allergies are used to filter recipes — never for ads, never sold
- No third-party analytics or trackers
- No ads right now, and never in cook mode
- Delete your account from inside the app
